Following a consultation request, an Affordable Solar Technologies technician will come to evaluate the site in New Jersey or upstate New York to see if solar will work on your commercial building or home. The technician will require a copy of all the pages of your most current electric bill in order to evaluate the size and type of the solar system you will need to suit your needs and usage. We will explain how the system works and discuss all the incentives available to you to lower the initial cost of your system. The complete installation cost will be quoted at this time.
Before we move forward you will be presented with a written proposal to install a solar panel electricity system on your home or business. We will fill out your state rebate applicaiton together and accept your initial deposit payment. Affordable Solar Technologies will then design the engineering for your system and apply for the necassary installation permits.
Upon recieving your approved rebate, we will have you sign a purchase order and provide us with your second payment. At this time we will order all the equipment for your system.
Your third payment will be due upon delivery of your system. When installation is complete and has passed inspection by your town and state, your final payment will be due. Your state rebate check will be mailed to you after your final payment has cleared. Affordable Solar Technologies will then set up your SREC account and/or arrange net metering with your power company.
